Regarding the frequency of changing cat litter, it's generally recommended to change it once a week. In this regard, it's not so much about how to save on tofu cat litter during use, but rather it's primarily about the tofu cat litter's manufacturing process and formula. A good tofu cat litter is characterized by minimal dust, strong water absorption, clumping, and effective odor control. Even if you don't change it for a week, you won't notice any particularly unpleasant odors.

On the other hand, a poor tofu cat litter may have weak water absorption, causing it to stick to the bottom and mix with the residue after just a day or two of use. Cleaning it becomes nearly impossible, and you end up having to discard it. Once you start using this type of tofu cat litter, you can't change the situation even if you clean it promptly.

So, the key to saving on cat litter is not so much about how you use it but mostly about choosing a high-quality cat litter. The size and density of the clumps will affect the amount of cat litter you use. We conducted a test where our manufactured cat litter, using 20 milliliters of water to simulate cat urine, resulted in clumps weighing around 34 grams. This is in contrast to other cat litters tested in the same way, where the clump weight was around 42 grams. If a bag of cat litter weighs 2.5 kilograms, our cat litter may last a bit longer based on the clumping characteristics.

In summary, the amount of cat litter used during usage depends on the cat litter itself rather than how you use it.
